The Cottonwood Mall has been an icon in the area for decades. They are tearing down everything, making way for a new expansion of residential, retail, and commerical properties. The Macy's store is remaining. It's sad to see everything torn down. The vision is to create a mega 'Gateway' concept of living with bike paths, green space, upscale retailers and residential condos. We're not looking forward to the increased property taxes that will accompany the project
